Enter through the carved wooden gate, pass by the fountain in the courtyard, go inside and look 22 feet up to see the painted artwork on the ceiling. Then walk down the hall to get a closer view of the Sea of Cortez. Outside the back door you'll see a private pool and spa bordering a private beach. Beyond that, the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez lap gently at the shore, beckoning you for a swim or some snorkeling. Go swimming, kayaking, snorkeling or scuba diving in your back yard or just grab a book and sit under the palapa. At night, sit on the deck and watch the sunset, and if it ever gets chilly, just turn on the outside fireplace.
Our 3600sf home on the Sea or Cortez is new (in 2008) and lavishly appointed, with limestone floors and Moroccan furniture. It is filled with natural light, plants and lots of books. It was built by an American builder/developer. There is a library for reading, relaxing or watching TV. The master suite looks out on the beach, bay and ocean and has a tempur-pedic bed that sits up electronically for a better view. A reading nook overlooks the pool and sea. The round office offers the best views of all, along with high-speed wireless Internet access. In the back there is a sun deck and a shaded deck.
Modern conveniences include unlimited free phone calls to the U.S., free local calls, hi-speed wireless Internet, and satellite TV with HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and Starz all included!
Ocean temperature here is warm, warm, warm in the summer! We're talking 89 degrees in July and August.
The home rents for $650/night, $3900/week or $7500/month.
